Does your relationship need a tune-up? At Sims Therapy we understand that it is easy to fall into negative cycles with your partner. We will work with you to break out of negativity and reconnect. Our therapists practice Emotionally-Focused Therapy to help you regain control of your relationship. You will learn to enhance connection, implement healthy boundaries, improve communication, heal past wounds, and build a more satisfying relationship.

Any therapist with a license in Texas can "say" they work with couples. We have higher standards at Sims Therapy. All our couples therapists have completed Marriage and Family Therapy education and have extensive experience working with couples.

All intern therapists who are on the road to full licensure are supervised by an LMFT with a decade of experience.​

LGBTQIA+ Matters
Sims Therapy provides a safe and non-judgmental space for those who identify with the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies. We understand that you may be facing challenges related to your identity and are here to help! In therapy, we will discuss your challenges and develop effective coping strategies that support you in being your true self.

We also support loved ones of LGBTQ+ individuals by providing a place where you can be honest with your understanding, thoughts, and feelings. More specifically, we recognize that parents and families experience their own unique process when their child comes out or begins transition. We are here to support you along this journey, no matter where you are.



Individual Therapy
Life is difficult, and we all need help sometimes. If you are feeling overwhelmed, hopeless, or "stuck," you've come to the right place. Therapy may not have the power to remove all life stressors, but it can sure help you become better at responding to them. We aim to help clients gain confidence in their emotional and mental health wellbeing through therapeutic intervention.
